An unidentified man was shot dead by a security guard at a Florida gambling den. The incident occurred early Saturday morning at Q-Time 777 in Lake City.

According to police, a security guard initially responded to an argument between the man and another person. After telling the man to leave the premises, he later returned with a pistol.
After shooting, the guard shot the man.
At some point he started taking several pictures inside the store with other customers, ”said Steven Khachigan, public information officer for the Columbia County Sheriff's Office. "At that point, an armed guard caught the suspect in gunfire."
Although several shots were fired, no one was injured in the game area. The police say the investigation is ongoing.
Not really a casino
The Q-Time 777 is located in Columbia County on East Duval Avenue near Cider Drive. While the small gaming venue calls itself a casino and the local media called the business that, it's little more than a large garage.
The Florida Seminole tribe has a near monopoly on casino gambling in the Sunshine State. The powerful Indian group owns and operates six casinos. Another tribe – the Miccosukee Tribe – owns their casino of the same name west of Miami at the entrance to the Everglades.
However, the Seminole casinos are the only ones allowed to offer traditional slot machines and homemade table games like blackjack and roulette.
Florida also has numerous racinos that offer games like poker.
Q-Time 777 claims to be open around the clock. It is currently unclear what type of gaming operations will be offered at the venue. The Columbia County Sheriff's Office did not respond to Casino.org's questions about Q-Time's games prior to release.
Q-Time is certainly far from visiting a Seminole casino. Instead of numerous gourmet restaurants and entertainment options on the A-list, the “amenities” of Q-Time include a neighboring Munchies gas station supermarket. For overnight guests, the Columbia Motel is next door. Google ratings include "stanky and dilapidated" and "nasty drug infected".
Gambling Den Crime
The shabby underworld of illegal gambling is ripe for criminal activity. Money, gambling and alcohol – often paired with drugs – are dangerous cocktails.
Late last year, 15 alleged gangsters were arrested in Philadelphia on charges of illegal gambling services. Last week, New Jersey law enforcement agencies raided an illegal gambling den and arrested three men.
A few days ago, the Las Vegas police rescued around 300 birds that had been prepared for cockfight. In Connecticut, three men were charged with running illegal gambling rings at several bodegas. They are each held on bail of $ 100,000.
Finally, the Dutch authorities recently arrested Tse Chi Lop, known as "Asia's El Chapo". Tse has ties to several of the most notorious triad gangs in the world, including 14K, Wo Shing Wo, Sun Yee On, Big Circle Gang, and Bamboo Union.
