Salem casino owners are asking a judge to dismiss a lawsuit from a former competitor on the grounds that they believe it is "frivolous" and that they have not provided any facts to justify their claims for damages.

Lisa and Michael Withrow, the owners of the Salem Chasers Poker Room and Casino, have filed a motion to dismiss a lawsuit by Donato "Dan" Dandreo III, the former owner of the Salem Cheers Poker Room, which closed in January 2019 .
